Rebecca Nacshon Israel based artist writes, composes and sings her own original music. She gets inspiration from nature, her feelings inside and life in general. Rebecca has released 4 singles, namely, “Everlasting Love”, in an original and an acoustic version, plus “Beat of Broken Heart” and "Set My Heart on Fire".
Rebecca was born in 18 January 1985 ,ever since childhood she always felt attraction to music and was ever since early ages writing and singing.
At the age of 14 she has recorded for the first time ,her original song that she has written ,composed and performed,it was a memory song for her deceased grandparents.
She shows off a broad variety of sounds and musical colors; however, they are all distinctly Rebecca Nacshon, tied together by her unique, sultry vocal quality.
All songs seem relatively simple lyrically, but upon closer examination you’ll find that the lyrics actually work on many levels, using beautiful metaphors and often idiomatic phrases to achieve a deep sort of representational meaning.
For example, in the ballad “Everlasting Love”, Rebecca sings of a velvet sky and images of the stars to create a sense of luscious, immense and eternal love, reaching their poignant messages of hope and love.
“Beat of Broken Heart” separates itself from the usual pop crowd by having the saxophone as a call-and-answer effect to Rebecca’s voice. The saxophone is an extremely soulful and emotional sounding instrument, which rarely finds its way into modern popular music anymore.
The song "Set My Heart on Fire" has a timeless beauty and at the same time modern sound, which is hard to combine.
Rebecca never studied music proffesionally ,but writes and composes her music from feelings.
Actually , the melodies are special and unique in a way that she gets those melodies in nexpected times and if she doesn't record herself singing those melodies they are lost forever.
Most of her compositions come while connecting to sounds from nature:a flow of the wind , the sound of rain drops , ocean waves on the shore etc all of those sounds create new composition inside her heart and that what's makes her music special.
